I love doing fun edible crafts with my kids during the holidays. And this year we made Easter Candy Baskets with See’s Candies Jelly Beans. I am a huge lover of See’s Chocolates, but my kids love candy more than chocolate, so I thought it would be fun to do something that they would love to eat. And oh my goodness was I shocked how yummy these Jelly Beans were, because I am not much of a candy person! The flavors were amazing! I could have eaten all the Jelly Beans in one sitting if I didnt have to share with my kids! haha.

Here is the yummy recipe for these treats:

1/2 teaspoon water
4-5 drops green food coloring
1/2 – 3/4 cup flaked coconut
3 tablespoons butter
1 (10 ounce) bag of marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
See’s candies Jelly Beans
Garland Ribbon

Directions:

In a bowl, stir water and food coloring. Add the coconut and stir till all of the coconut is green. Spread out on tin foil or baking sheet to dry.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Add the mashmallows and stir until they are melted. Do not overstir. Turn off heat.

Add the Rice Krispies and sprinkles. Stir until mixed. Scoop the mixture into muffin-pans coated with cooking spray. Shape the Rice Krispies into cups. Let dry for about 30 minutes. Take them out of the pan and decorate with the coconut, jelly beans and garland as desired! XOXO
