Royal Icing Recipe:
-5 tablespoons of meringue powder
-1/2-3/4 cup warm water (depending on what consistency you want)
-1 teaspoon cream of tartar
-1 teaspoon of extract (of your choice)
-2.25lbs. powdered sugar
Stir meringue powder and water in a mixing bowl. Stir in cream of tartar and extracts. Add in powdered sugar (2 cups at a time), beat on your lowest speed for 8-10 minutes. Store in a tight sealed container, best used within a week. Enjoy!
