-2½ cups flour
-½ cup cocoa powder
-2 sticks room temperature butter
-1 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon vanilla
In a large mixing bowl. Combined butter and sugar, mix until fluffy (about 3-5 minutes.) Add the egg and vanilla, mix on medium speed until combined. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, and salt. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. On slow speed, mix until incorporated. Chill for 1-4 hours. Roll out dough. Use a cookie cutter you prefer. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool before decorating. Enjoy!
